As part of our continued work in Altadena, we’re preparing to break ground on a new Remington Rebuilds model home — designed to reflect the kinds of homes and questions we’re seeing from homeowners as they rebuild.
This model will feature our 206 floorplan with the Mission Revival exterior elevation, paired with an ADU and two-car garage, offering a practical, flexible example of what rebuilding can look like in this community.

The 206 Plan
The 206, Mission Revival was selected intentionally. It reflects both the architectural character of Altadena and the functional needs of homeowners navigating a rebuild.

ADU + Two-Car Garage
In addition to the main residence, the model will include an Accessory Dwelling Unit paired with a two-car garage — a configuration many homeowners are exploring as they rebuild.
This setup provides:
Additional living space for family, guests, or rental use
Practical parking and storage
Long-term flexibility as needs change
Including an ADU in the model allows homeowners to better understand how these spaces relate to the main home — in scale, placement, and function.
Designed for Real Rebuilding Conversations
This model home is being built as a working reference as much as a "model".
Once complete, it will allow homeowners to:
Walk through a full plan instead of imagining it
Understand room sizes, flow, and layout
See how an ADU and garage integrate into the site
Ask informed questions as they consider their own rebuilding plans
It’s meant to support practical decision-making — at a pace that feels right.
What’s Next
With construction beginning soon, we’ll share updates as the model takes shape.
At groundbreaking, we’ll talk more about why having a physical model matters in the rebuilding process and how this home fits into our long-term presence in Altadena.
For now, this step marks the beginning of bringing plans, ideas, and conversations into a real, walkable space.
More to come as construction begins.
