Recognized by the Town of Superior
Our rebuilding journey started from the ashes of the Marshall Fire. As a homebuilder we knew we could step in quickly and help our community. This was a true team effort and we felt incredibly honored and proud when the Town of Superior presented us with a letter of recognition for our efforts in rebuilding the homes lost to the Marshall Fire.
Proclamation reads:

"If you find yourself in the position of having to rebuild your home after a fire, you have my sympathy. In December of 2021, my entire subdivision burned down in minutes from the Marshall fire that destroyed over 1000 homes in Colorado. So many decisions had to be made quickly while under so much pressure. My one desire was to get back home as fast as possible. I wanted a great home design but with a dependable builder with a track record that I could trust.
Our community held a builder’s fair with over 40 builders, architects and financiers even before our lots were cleared. So I had the opportunity to meet dozens of builders and architects, and review every plan available. I took my time, did a deep analysis and chose Remington Rebuilds because:
1) Remington Homes had an excellent reputation having built thousands of homes in Colorado. I didn’t have to worry about vetting outside contractors, paying an architect, or competing with others rebuilding to find an available contractor. They had all the staff in place to build fast and efficiently. There was no second guessing on cost - their Sales rep made sure that the contracts were clear and understandable. This made it easy to work within my budget.
2) They hired a staff member with an insurance background to communicate directly with insurance. This proved so helpful in cutting through the red tape of insurance issues. I cannot emphasize enough just how important this proved to be in my rebuild process.
3) Their plans offered optional design modifications with set prices, so I was able to build the house that I wanted, but without the custom home price tag. Plus, all of their designs featured open layouts with great kitchens and large windows for lots of light. I loved that they had open staircases which added a touch of elegance. Additionally, the Design Center was huge and had an experienced staff to help navigate all the options for floors, cabinetry and tile.
As my house went up, I was walked through every phase of the rebuilding process and was given time to inspect the house while it was under construction. If I spotted any issues they were taken care of immediately. My build was completed on budget with no hidden costs or surprises. I was always advised of what was being done and if any changes were necessary, I had time to review and approve of them.
I was one of the first homes rebuilt post fire. I could not believe how fast my home went up. Everyone who comes to my new house for the first time says the same thing – WOW!
I’ve been in my beautiful new home almost two years now – and I’m still so grateful that I went with Remington Rebuilds as my builder."

"It is my privilege and pleasure to write this review for Remington Homes. First off, I should say that I consider this to be more of a testimonial than a review. The wonderful people at Remington jumped into action to come to the aid of a community that was not only physically destroyed, but emotionally wrecked as well. Within 4 months, they had drawn up 4 model homes that would all fit on any lot in my neighborhood. The design and livability of these models was far above and beyond what we had in our original house. They also offered upgrades as the standard for the builds so the quality of product we had to choose from didn't cost us extra to install.
The team we got to work with was first class as well. Even when I ended up needing to add an extra light in the master closet once the walls went up, they didn't balk or tell me it couldn't be done. As with any new build, there were some things that didn't go as well as planned, but Remington took everything on my list and worked with me to make it right. I even had a quirky electrical problem that the electricians had to come out 4 times to try to figure out, each time bringing in new eyes to work on the problem until finally they got it solved. My son (who was in high school at the time) loved how the folks at Remington patiently explained things to him when he had questions about the build. The fact that they were willing to take time with not only me, but everyone in my family, was truly fantastic.
All in all, I am so thankful that we chose to build our home with Remington. In the midst of one of the most stressful times in our lives, they demonstrated a kindness and expertise that was greatly appreciated. The quality of the work they did is evident to me every day. I love our new home, as does all of my family."
Rebuilding a Cul De Sac of Seven Homes
"Our entire neighborhood of almost 100 homes lost our homes in the Marshall fire in late
December 2021. Our community organized a “Builder’s Expo” of vetted builders to provide
information on designs and costs for our consideration.
In advance of the Expo, our cul de sac owners of seven homes agreed to hire a single builder
for efficiency and “design coherency.” Ater individual analysis of the homes we saw at the Expo, we all voted for Remington Homes as our builder.
None of us have looked back. We found Remington to be a quality, reasonably priced and
reliable homebuilder. Their design center gave us the help we needed to make our homes as
beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. Remington provides an excellent one-year
warranty.
I am happy to be back in my Remington home. Not happy, but very happy!"
