As rebuilding continues across Altadena, many homeowners are looking for architectural styles that feel both rooted and forward-looking. In response, we’re introducing Mid-Century Modern elevations across our home plans — offering another design option for families rebuilding after wildfire.

These new elevations are now available on our 202 and 206 plans, with availability expanding across all floor plans. Additional renderings will be shared soon.

A Style with Deep California Roots
Mid-Century Modern architecture has a long history in Southern California. Known for clean lines, simple forms, and a strong connection between indoors and outdoors, the style emphasizes livability, light, and clarity — qualities many homeowners value when rebuilding.
Key characteristics of our Mid-Century Modern elevations include:
Low-profile rooflines and strong horizontal lines
Large windows that bring in natural light
A restrained material palette with warmth and contrast
A focus on function, simplicity, and thoughtful detailing
Rather than feeling ornamental or overly stylized, the design is intentional and practical — meant to support everyday living.
Why Mid-Century Modern Works for Rebuilding
For many families rebuilding after wildfire, the goal isn’t to recreate the past exactly — it’s to build something that supports how they live now.
Mid-Century Modern design lends itself well to rebuilding because it:
Prioritizes efficient layouts and clear circulation
Adapts well to a variety of lot sizes and conditions
Pairs naturally with energy-efficient building strategies
Feels modern without being trend-driven
These elevations provide flexibility while still respecting the character of established neighborhoods.
Available Across Our Plans
While the Mid-Century Modern elevations are currently shown on the 202 and 206 plans, this design option will be available across our full range of floor plans.
Homeowners can explore:
Different plan sizes and configurations
One- and two-story options
ADU compatibility, where applicable
Customizations that align with individual rebuilding needs
Our goal is to offer architectural choice without overwhelming the process.
More to Come
As additional renderings are completed, we’ll continue sharing updates and examples of how these elevations can be applied across different plans.
